Free Parking

Free parking is available along several side streets and other downtown locations for anyone planning to attend downtown events. Designated public parking areas are identified by event specific parking signage.

Your best option is to take advantage of the free parking Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (SEBTS) graciously makes available in several campus lots. All of these lots are well with-in a 15-minute walk of South White Street.

Prior to popular downtown events, such as Forest Fest, Friday Night on White, Meet in the Street, WF Cares Holiday Kick-off, and Lighting of Wake Forest, we will post a public parking map on this page that highlights permitted parking in areas of downtown and in and around SEBTS.

Public Lots vs. Private Lots

Some downtown parking lots may appear to be public, when in fact they are private, such as the Renaissance Plaza parking lot. Please be sure to read all signage in the parking lot to determine what type of lot you are using.

Private lots are intended for business patrons only. Public lots that are open to event attendees are clearly marked.

Accessible Parking

For most events, the Wake Forest Town Hall Parking Lot, 301 S. Brooks St., is designated for accessible parking. Exceptions will be announced on this page.

Uber & Lyft

Anyone planning to use Uber or Lyft to take you to or from a downtown event is encouraged to set the Wake Forest Town Hall, 301 S. Brooks St., as the destination and pickup location.

By designating Town Hall as the destination and/or pickup location, you'll make it easier for yourself and your driver to connect, plus the festivities along South White Street and other areas of downtown are only a few steps away.
