Public Facilities Projects

The Town of Wake Forest identified the need for an additional fire station in the northeast quadrant of town in 2022. 

Land was identified and purchased in 2023. In late 2023, a request for qualifications with design-build as the delivery method for this project was released. In February 2024, six responses were received and analyzed.

In August 2024, the BOC approved a design-build contract with ADW Architects and Edifice Construction.

In 2025, the Town of Wake Forest began exploring opportunities to expand arts, cultural, and event spaces to better serve residents and support the community’s continued growth. 

The Performing Arts Center Feasibility Study evaluates the demand for arts and event space, identifies potential facility options, and helps guide long-term planning for arts and cultural programming in Wake Forest.
