In an effort to protect Wake Forest residents from becoming victims of crime when selling or purchasing items advertised online, the Wake Forest Police Department has introduced Operation Safe Sale to provide a safe zone for transactions called "Operation Safe Sale."


Neighborhood Watch

Any Wake Forest resident who is interested in joining or forming a Neighborhood Watch group is urged to Contact Officer Scott Graham. Our mission is to build upon the original concepts of Neighborhood Watch, utilizing all available resources to create a proactive community-police partnership for crime prevention and problem-solving in each neighborhood.


Child Safety Seat Installation

Keeping children safe is an important priority for the Wake Forest Police Department. That's why the department is taking aggressive action to reduce the incidence of car seat and safety belt misuse by establishing a free Child Safety Seat Installation and education program in Wake Forest.


Fingerprinting Service

The Wake Forest Police Department offers live scan Fingerprinting Service to Wake Forest residents only on Thursdays from 10 a.m. - noon (No appointment necessary). The cost is $10, and only cash is accepted. Service is limited to the first 12 customers. For more information, call 919-435-9592.
