Guest Services Volunteers Needed
The Town of Wake Forest is again recruiting friendly, outgoing volunteers to greet and help direct customers visiting Town Hall.
Guest services volunteers are expected to work at least two shifts per month at the guest services desk, located in the lobby at Town Hall, 301 S. Brooks St.
Volunteers must also participate in mandatory training where they will learn about guest services desk responsibilities, participate in a brief tour of Town Hall, and complete and submit a background check form.

Guest services volunteer application forms are available online and paper copies are available at Town Hall's first floor customer information desk.
Completed forms may be mailed or delivered to Town Hall, c/o Guest Services Volunteer Application, 301 S. Brooks St., Wake Forest, NC 27587.
Overview
The Town of Wake Forest enlists volunteers, as needed, to work shifts at the guest services desk, located in the lobby at town hall, 301 S. Brooks St.
Participating volunteers are invited to sign up on a regular basis or as a substitute to work the following shifts:
Mondays-Fridays
8 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
1:30 p.m. - 4 p.m.
Duties
Welcome and greet visitors to town hall
Direct individuals to appropriate offices at town hall
Answer general questions in person and on the telephone regarding town services
Provide tours of town hall
Volunteers may bring a book, knitting, or other related activity for slow periods.
Desirable knowledge & skills
Friendly and outgoing
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Interest in and knowledge of the Wake Forest Community
Willingness to deal with diverse populations and personalities
Requirements
Complete and submit a volunteer application
Work at least two shifts per month
