Communications Center
The telecommunicators of the Wake Forest Police Department Communications Center strive to collect and disseminate all requests for service in a prompt, courteous, and efficient manner for all customers. Their actions help save lives, protect property, and assist the public in their time of need.
The Communications Center operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and is responsible for answering all police related emergency and non-emergency calls for service. The Communications Center is also responsible for assisting police officers who are in the field with any communication needs.
Important Phone Numbers
Non-emergency calls such as requesting information on road conditions, reporting a power outage, obtaining information on school or business closings, or requesting telephone numbers or directions are but a few of the many things that needlessly tie up the Communications Center.
