A two-vehicle crash has closed eastbound Dr. Calvin Jones Highway/NC 98 Bypass between Jones Dairy Road and Heritage Lake Road.

Motorists are urged to avoid the area and use an alternate route.

Emergency personnel are on the scene. One person is being transported to a local hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.
