There were no serious injuries.

A four-vehicle crash has closed lanes along both eastbound and westbound Dr. Calvin Jones Highway/NC 98 Bypass near South Franklin Street.

The crash is causing major delays, so motorists are urged to avoid the area and use an alternate route.

Emergency personnel are on the scene. There is no word on injuries.
