Downed tree closes portion of Ligon Mill Road

Ligon Mill Road is closed between Forest Road and Wake Drive due to a downed tree and power line across the roadway.
A detour is in place. Motorists may wish to avoid the area and use an alternate route.
There is no word on when the road will reopen.
