Portion of Sanford Creek Greenway to be closed Monday morning for tree removal

Weather permitting, Wake Forest tree crews will close a portion of the Sanford Creek Greenway in the vicinity of Sanford Creek Avenue and Rose Angel Circle Monday, Aug. 28, from 7:30-10:30 a.m.

The temporary closure is necessary to allow crews to remove a tree damaged during a recent storm.

Signage and barricades will be posted to inform the public of the temporary closure. Greenway users are urged to obey the signs and avoid the area.
