Raleigh Water responding to water main break along East Wait Avenue

Raleigh Water crews are responding to a ruptured water main along East Wait Avenue. It is unclear what caused the main to rupture, and there is no word on how many water customers have been impacted.

For the safety of work crews, the portion of East Wait Avenue from Highgate Circle to North Allen Road has been reduced to one lane with intermittent two-way traffic.
