Raleigh Water responding to water main break along South White Street

Raleigh Water crews are responding to a water main break along the 400 block of South White Street.

For the safety of work crews, South White Street from Elm Avenue to East Holding Avenue is closed. A signed detour is in place directing motorists around the work area. Delays are expected, so drivers may wish to avoid the area and take an alternate route.

The water main repair is expected to be completed by 11 p.m.
