The following is a list of facilities, events, and meetings that are closed or canceled in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. For more information and resources, visit the Town of Wake Forest's COVID-19 Information page.

Wake County Seniors 65+ Can Join Waiting List for Vaccine Starting Jan. 19

COVID-19 claims Town events through October
Holding Park Aquatic Center opened July 1. Open Swim times are scheduled in three-hour blocks, with one hour in between to allow staff to clean and sanitize the facility. Patrons must register and pay for each session in advance.
Taylor Street Park Sprayground opened Saturday, June 13.
Yard waste collection resumed May 11
Tennis courts and pickleball courts reopened May 9
Bulk waste collection resumed June 2
Wake Forest Loop B resumed normal operations Tuesday, May 26
Picnic shelters, outdoor basketball courts and batting cages re-opened Saturday, May 23, at 8 a.m, but no more than 25 people are allowed to assemble
Wake Forest Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources facilities, including Joyner Park Community Center, Flaherty Park Community Center and Alston-Massenburg Center, remain closed to the general public. A limited number of programs are offered at these facilities, so only registered participants may enter.

2020 in-person Fireworks Spectacular - Officials put on an aerial fireworks display for residents to watch on Facebook Live. The fireworks show was re-aired throughout July on WFTV 10.
