Wake Forest Police investigating fatal shooting

At around noon today, Wake Forest Police officers responded to a reported shooting at 103 North White Street. Upon arrival, the officers were unable to locate a victim and proceeded to initiate an investigation to determine whether a shooting had occurred.

At approximately 1:30 p.m., Youngsville Police Department (YPD) officials contacted Wake Forest Police to report that an adult male had arrived at the YPD to report a deceased female inside his vehicle in the YPD parking lot, 134 Youngsville Blvd., Youngsville.

Wake Forest Police responded and confirmed the incidents are related.
