Team Placement
Team practices will begin within one week of league draft (or coach meeting). Coaches will notify players regarding time and location of initial team practice. Schedules of draft dates, times, and locations will be posted seasonally.
Basketball
League age determined by player's age on Dec. 31 of current year
Players "league age" 5-8 will be placed onto teams by PRCR staff.
Players "league age" 9 and above will participate in league draft (skills evaluation).
Participants will be notified by telephone/email message a minimum of two days in advance of the scheduled draft date for their age group.
Please Note: "Returning players" (those remaining in the same age group as last basketball season) and coaches' children do not participate in the league drafts, with the exception of players wishing to change teams from the previous season.
ALL participants league age 13 and above are drafted each season.
Spring Baseball, Softball, T-Ball
League age determined by player's age on April 30 of current year

Dream League Baseball
League age determined by player's age on April 30 of current year
Players will be placed onto teams by PRCR staff.
Fall Baseball & Softball
League age determined by player's age on April 30 of current year
Players age 6-7 will be placed onto teams by PRCR staff.

The Wake Forest Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Department's Girls' Volleyball League is open to girls ages 9-16 (player's "league age" is determined by their age on September 1 of this year).
Girls Volleyball
League age is determined by the player's age on September 1 of the current year.
Participants will be notified by telephone/email message regarding the scheduled skills evaluation sessions for their age group.
Players will be placed onto teams by Triangle Volleyball Club staff.
