Traffic Alert - Burlington Mill Road/Ligon Mill Road intersection work continues through early August

Gaines and Company, Inc., a contractor working on the future Kitchen Farms subdivision, will continue intermittent lane closures at the intersection of Burlington Mill Road and Ligon Mill Road weekdays through Friday, Aug. 5, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. The lane closures are necessary to allow crews to widen the road and add turn lanes. The work was originally scheduled to be complete by July 15 but has been delayed due to inclement weather.

Signage and flaggers will be in place to manage traffic flow and safely direct motorists through the work area. Delays are expected, so drivers are encouraged to take an alternate route if possible. For more information, email Jim Stafford at [email protected].
