Portions of downtown parking lot to be closed Monday & Tuesday mornings

Wake Forest tree crews will close portions of the downtown parking lot that extends from East Jones Avenue to East Wait Avenue Monday and Tuesday, March 28-29, from 8 a.m.-noon. The lot is situated behind several downtown businesses along the 100 block of South White Street.

The morning closures are necessary to allow workers to prune several trees in the area.

Signage and cones will be in place alerting motorists about the work in progress, while “no parking” signs will also be posted in the closed portion of the parking lot.
