Crash causing delays along Dr. Calvin Jones Highway/NC 98 Bypass near South Franklin Street

***UPDATE - All lanes along Dr. Calvin Jones Highway/NC 98 Bypass and South Franklin Street have reopened.

Three people were transported to a local hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.

A two-vehicle crash has closed all but one lane along westbound Dr. Calvin Jones Highway/NC 98 Bypass near South Franklin Street. Southbound South Franklin Street is closed at the intersection.

The crash is causing major delays, so motorists are urged to avoid the area and use an alternate route.

Emergency personnel are on the scene. No serious injuries have been reported.
