“It’s a Wonderful Wake Forest” Historic Holiday Festival

Join us at the Wake Forest Historical Museum, 414 N. Main St., on Saturday, Dec. 4, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. for the “It’s a Wonderful Wake Forest” Historic Holiday Festival!
The Calvin Jones House will be decorated for the holidays and open for tours along with the museum and exhibit hall.
The favorite holiday film, "It's a Wonderful Life," will be screened in the museum auditorium, while local musicians perform both inside the museum and outside on the grounds.
Walking Tours
Guided Historic District Walking Tours will be available by pre-registration only beginning every 30 minutes between 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
PLEASE NOTE: All slots are full.
Tours are limited to 15 people per tour and will not include the interior of any historic homes.
Along the way, each group will discuss the developmental and architectural history of the area, along with the significant men and women who lived in the homes. Please note: Tours will not include individual homes.
Know Before You Go
Tours will start promptly at the designated time.
Each tour will begin and end at the Wake Forest Historical Museum, 414 N. Main St. Following each tour, participants are invited to visit the museum and the Dr. Calvin Jones House.
Tours take approximately 90 minutes.
Pre-registration is required by completing the sign-up form.
