Overview

The Town of Wake Forest is conducting a preliminary engineering study to assess stormwater drainage concerns in the Home Gardens neighborhood, near Wake Drive and Forest Road. Frequent water accumulation around private properties suggests that existing topographic characteristics and inadequate drainage infrastructure may be contributing factors.

This study will analyze the current drainage system and develop recommendations to mitigate flooding. As part of the effort, McAdams will perform surveying and subsurface utility exploration (SUE) to collect essential drainage and utility data. The findings will guide future improvements to enhance stormwater management in the area.
