Traffic Alert – North White Street

Motorists should expect delays along North White Street Monday-Thursday, Oct. 30-Nov. 2, from 7 a.m.-4 p.m. each day.

On Monday and Tuesday, Town crews are expected to close the portion of North White from East Perry Avenue to East Juniper Avenue. On Wednesday and Thursday, crews will close the section of North White from East Juniper to East Spring Street.

These temporary road closures are necessary to allow tree crews to safely prune tree limbs and branches to improve sight distances and roadway clearance.

Signed detours will be in place to direct motorists around the work areas. Again, delays are expected, so drivers are encouraged to take an alternate route if possible. For more information, email Streets Maintenance Manager Joseph Medlin at [email protected].
