Traffic Alert – South Franklin Street

On Friday, Nov. 10, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., Fred Smith Company, a contractor working in the Holding Village neighborhood, will reduce to one lane with intermittent two-way traffic, the portion of South Franklin Street from Artisan Park Drive to the Dr. Calvin Jones Highway/NC 98 Bypass.

The temporary lane closure is necessary to allow crews to safely apply roadway striping along this section of South Franklin.

Signs and flaggers will be in place to safely direct motorists through the work area. Delays are expected, so motorists may wish to use an alternate route.
