HPAC to close for season September 2

Holding Park Aquatic Center (HPAC) opened for the 2024 season on Saturday, May 25. It will be open for Labor Day, then close for the season.

Daily Admission Fees

Daily admission fees for Wake Forest residents are $1 for children ages 2 and under; $4 for children ages 3-13; and $5 for patrons ages 13-59; and $4 for ages 60 and over.

Daily admission fees for non-Wake Forest residents are $2 for children ages 2 and under; $6 for children ages 3-13; and $7 for patrons ages 13-59; and $6 for ages 60 and over.

Register & Pay in Advance

Patrons must register and pay online for each session in advance, walk-ins will be allowed if space permits. 

Pre-registration opens 14 days in advance, and closes when full.

Open swim times will be scheduled in three-hour blocks, with one-half  hour in between. A maximum of 200 patrons will be allowed inside the facility during each session. 

Punch Pass

Beginning Monday, May 20, patrons may purchase a Punch Pass worth 20 daily swim sessions at HPAC. Punch Passes will be available to Wake Forest residents for $60 and non-Wake Forest residents for $100.

Punch Passes must be purchased online and retrieved during normal operating hours at either Joyner Park Community Center, 701 Harris Road, or Flaherty Park Community Center, 1226 N. White St.

Please note: “Punch Pass” will be shown as a “payment” option on the daily swim session registration site, and the pass must be presented to HPAC staff prior to entry.

Health & Safety Guidelines

HPAC patrons can help stay healthy by practicing these health and safety guidelines:

• Use hand sanitizer;

• Maintain a social distance of six feet from others;

• Cover your mouth and nose when you cough and sneeze;

• Wash your hands frequently with soap and warm water;

• Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
  
  

Rental Options

Please note: The Holding Park Aquatic Center is not available to rent.

However, the Wake Forest Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources Department offers a variety of rental locations to help you host your event! Whether you are hosting a family reunion, wedding, reception, or birthday party, we are here for you!
