Traffic Alert – Franklin Street in Holding Village

Beginning today (Thursday, Nov. 16), and continuing through Tuesday, Nov. 21, from 7 a.m.-6 p.m. daily, Fred Smith Company, a contractor working in the Holding Village neighborhood, will reduce to one lane with intermittent two-way traffic, several streets east of Franklin Street in Holding Village, including Basin Hill Drive, Averybeck Lane, Alameda Street, Aubey Lane, Remey Avenue, Terrapin Lane, Kimber Lane, Friendship Chapel Road, and Roycroft Drive.

The temporary lane closures are necessary to allow crews to safely perform final paving operations along these roadways.

Signs and flaggers will be in place to safely direct motorists around and through the work areas. Delays are expected, so motorists may wish to use an alternate route.
