NCRPA names KP Kilpatrick winner of 2023 Vision Award

Athletics Recreation Specialist KP Kilpatrick has been named the 2023 winner of the NC Recreation & Park Association (NCRPA) Vision Award.

Presented annually by the NCRPA, the honor is presented to a full-time athletics staff member who works and collaborates with other staff and or departments to accomplish a project or program, or impact how a facility operates.

The award was presented to Kilpatrick during the September 26 NCRPA Athletic Directors Workshop in Asheville, NC.

A Town of Wake Forest employee since April 2018, Kilpatrick graduated with a Master in Sport Management from Middle Tennessee State University and a Bachelor of Science in Recreation Administration from NC A&T University.

“KP’s passion for youth athletics and ability to collaborate with several different people and organizations to schedule our various athletics leagues make him an especially deserving recipient of the Vision Award,” said Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources Director Ruben Wall.
