Flaherty Dog Park to be closed for cleaning & maintenance weekdays from 7:30-8:30 a.m.
Beginning Monday, May 9, Flaherty Dog Park, 1100 N. White St., will be closed for cleaning and maintenance weekdays from 7:30-8:30 a.m. The closure is intended to help ensure the health and safety of maintenance personnel.
Signage announcing the new schedule has been posted at the park entrance.
The Town of Wake Forest opened Flaherty Dog Park in June 2007. The three-acre park features a paved entrance and two exercise areas. Each of the fenced areas – one for small dogs and one for larger dogs – includes grass cover, picnic tables, shade trees, waste stations and a water fountain for both dogs and people.
