Flaherty Dog Park closed for maintenance April 19-20
Weather permitting, Flaherty Dog Park, 1100 N. White St., will be closed for maintenance Tuesday-Wednesday, April 19-20. The closure is necessary to allow crews to install gravel and mulch to areas throughout the park in need of attention.
Signage will be posted to notify the public of the closure.
The Town of Wake Forest opened Flaherty Dog Park in June 2007. The three-acre park features a paved entrance and two exercise areas. Each of the fenced areas – one for small dogs and one for larger dogs – includes grass cover, picnic tables, shade trees, waste stations and a water fountain for both dogs and people.
