Raleigh Water schedules overnight closure along South White Street Sunday-Monday, May 22-23

Raleigh Water will close a portion of the 200 block of South White Street from East Owen Avenue to East Jones Avenue from 8 p.m. Sunday, May 22, through approximately 5:30 a.m. Monday, May 23. The overnight closure is necessary to allow crews to perform a service renewal. Water and sewer service in the area will not be affected.

Detour signage will be in place to manage traffic flow and safely direct motorists around the work area. Delays are expected, so motorists are encouraged to avoid the area if possible and take an alternate route. For more information, contact Raleigh Water’s Craig Thatcher at [email protected].
