A crash involving two vehicles has closed the intersection of south Main Street/US 1A & Dr. Calvin Jones Highway/NC 98 Bypass

A detour is in place. Motorists are urged to avoid the area and use an alternate route.

Emergency personnel are on the scene. One person is being transported to a local hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.
