Louisburg man charged with sex crimes involving a child
Following a two-month investigation, Wake Forest Police have charged Timarin Lawson (photo attached), 501 N. Main St., Louisburg, in connection with an incident involving a 14-year-old that occurred on the evening of November 29, 2023, in the parking lot of Heritage High School, 1150 Forestville Road.
Lawson, who was 20 years old at the time of the incident, has been charged with two counts of sex offense with a child and one count of first-degree kidnapping.
He was arrested earlier today by Louisburg Police and transported to the Franklin County Jail.
Lawson is not a student or staff member at Heritage High School. He was known to the victim.
Due to the nature of this crime and the age of the victim, no additional information will be released.
