Police make arrest in Polanski Drive stabbings
Wake Forest Police have arrested a local man in connection with two overnight stabbings.
On Tuesday at 11:59 p.m., police responded to a reported stabbing along the 3100 block of Polanski Drive. Upon their arrival, officers located Nyla Eaddy, a 24-year-old female, suffering from multiple stab wounds. She was transported to a local hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
Officers also discovered a second stabbing victim, Dena Eaddy, 47, who sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Police arrested Edmond Eaddy, Jr., age 20, in connection with these incidents. Eaddy is the brother of Nyla Eaddy and the son of Dena Eaddy.
Eaddy has been charged with murder and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury.
He is being held in the Wake County Jail Detention Center under no bond. His first court appearance is Thursday.
