Raleigh Water repairing water main along East Roosevelt Avenue

Raleigh Water crews are repairing a water main along the 300 block of East Roosevelt Avenue.

For the safety of work crews, westbound Wait Avenue is closed from North Franklin Street to North Taylor Street. North Taylor Street from Wait Avenue to Pearce Avenue is also closed.

A signed detour is in place directing motorists around the work area. Delays are expected, so drivers may wish to avoid the area and take an alternate route.
