Traffic Alert – Mangum Avenue

Weather permitting, the Town of Wake Forest will temporarily close the portion of Mangum Avenue between Carter Street and Ligon Mill Road Tuesday-Thursday, July 30-Aug. 1, from 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. each day. The temporary closure is necessary to allow crews to repair the asphalt along the roadway. Access to all driveways will be maintained at all times.

A signed detour will be in place directing motorists around Carter Street to Cameron Drive. Delays are expected, so motorists may wish to avoid the area and take an alternate route.
