Traffic signal at intersection of Capital Boulevard/US 1 & Height Lane to become operational Friday afternoon

According to the developer of Casa Esperanza Montessori School, 10510 Star Road, the traffic signal at the intersection of Capital Boulevard/US 1 and Height Lane, which has been on flash mode, will be fully operational on Friday afternoon. Once activated, the traffic signal will control southbound left turns, westbound right turns, and northbound through and right turns.

NCDOT required the developer to install the traffic signal, along with a directional crossover at the median opening allowing only northbound and southbound left turns.
