Ting announces several lane closures through mid-November

Eastern Underground Construction, Inc., a contractor working on behalf of Ting Fiber, has scheduled periodic lane closures through Friday, Nov. 18, along the following roads:

  • 200 and 300 blocks of South Main Street

  • 100 and 200 blocks of South Avenue

  • 400 block of Durham Road

  • 100 block of Front Street

  • 100 block of West Chestnut Avenue

  • 1200 block of North Main Street

Scheduled from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. daily, these lane closures are necessary to allow crews to install underground cable.

Signage and flaggers will be in place to manage traffic flow and safely direct motorists through the work area. Delays are expected, so drivers may wish to avoid these areas and take an alternate route.
