Raleigh Water repairing water leak at intersection of West Chestnut & North Wingate

Raleigh Water crews are responding to a water leak in the intersection of North Wingate Street and West Chestnut Avenue.

For the safety of work crews, the portion of North Wingate from West Oak Avenue to West Chestnut is closed. A signed detour is in place directing motorists around the work area. Delays are expected, so drivers may wish to avoid the area and take an alternate route.
