Crash closes southbound Capital Boulevard/US 1

***UPDATE - Two of three lanes along southbound Capital Boulevard/US 1 have reopened.

No serious injuries have been reported.

The following information was distributed today at 2:43 p.m.

A crash involving three vehicles has closed all lanes of southbound Capital Boulevard/US 1 at South Main Street/Falls of Neuse Road.

A detour is in place. Motorists are urged to avoid the area and use an alternate route.

Emergency personnel are on the scene. There is no word on injuries.
