Wake Forest Police investigating shooting along North Allen Road

Wake Forest Police are investigating a shooting involving a juvenile victim along North Allen Road.

At approximately 2:30 p.m., officers responded to a reported shooting along the 200 block of North Allen Road. Upon arrival, officers located a 15-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to the foot. He was transported to a local hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers and detectives are currently on scene determining the circumstances surrounding this incident. The presence of officers along North Allen Road is related to the shooting and the ongoing investigation.
