Traffic Alert – South Brooks Street

Stewart Engineering, a contractor working on the Wake Forest Waterline Project, will close the portion of South Brooks Street from East Jones Avenue to East Owen Avenue Monday-Tuesday, Oct. 9-10, from 7 a.m.-4 p.m. each day. The temporary road closure is necessary to allow crews to excavate the existing waterline to prepare for future improvements.

Signs and flaggers will be in place to manage traffic flow and safely direct motorists around the work area. Delays are expected, so motorists may wish to avoid the area and choose an alternate route. For more information, email Stewart Engineering’s Brandon Firmstone at [email protected].
