Raleigh Water repairing sewer line along South Main Street/US 1A

Raleigh Water has reduced to one lane with alternating two-way traffic a portion of South Main Street/US 1A near Vernon Avenue. The temporary lane closure is necessary to allow crews to repair a sewer line.

Signage and flaggers are in place directing traffic through the work area. Delays are expected, so motorists may wish to avoid the area and use an alternate route.

The work is expected to be completed by 5 p.m.
