Downed tree closes portion of West Chestnut Avenue

West Chestnut Avenue is closed near the intersection of Coggins Street due to a downed tree across the roadway (see attached photo).

 A detour is in place. Motorists should avoid the area and use an alternate route.

There is no word on when the road will reopen.
