Traffic Alert – North Main Street/US 1A

The Town of Wake Forest will temporarily close the northbound lane along North Main Street/US 1A from Walnut Avenue to Juniper Avenue Tuesday, Aug. 6, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. The temporary lane closure is necessary to allow crews to jet the storm drain that runs along North Main in anticipation of potentially heavy rains this week associated with Hurricane Debby.

A signed detour will be in place directing motorists traveling northbound along North Main Street to turn left onto West Walnut, right onto North College Street, right onto West Juniper, then left onto North Main.
