Raleigh Water schedules overnight closures along South Main Street/US 1A November 3-5

Raleigh Water will close a portion of South Main Street/US 1A between East Holding Avenue and Elm Avenue Sunday-Tuesday, Nov. 3-5, from 7 p.m.-5 a.m. each evening. PLEASE NOTE: The work will begin at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5. The overnight closures are necessary to allow crews to renew sewer service at two locations and install a sewer manhole at a third location.

The following signed detour will be in place directing traffic around the work area: Motorists traveling north along South Main Street/US 1A will turn right onto East Holding, left onto South White, and left onto Elm. Southbound traffic will turn left onto Elm, right onto South White, and right onto East Holding.
