Wake Forest Pre-Pay Power
Wake Forest Pre-Pay Power offers you the opportunity to pay when you want, in the amounts you want. Instead of receiving a traditional monthly paper bill, usage is calculated daily.
As a pre-pay customer, you'll never pay a late charge and you won't be charged costly disconnect and reconnect fees if your account runs out of credit.
Payments can be made with cash at Money Gram locations (at most Wal-Mart's and CVS Pharmacies), by telephone 919-283-5757 or online.
Online Bill Pay
The Town of Wake Forest offers its customers the convenience of Online Bill Pay.
With online bill pay, you can pay your utility bill with Text-To-Pay, Venmo, E-Check PayPal an American Express, Discover, MasterCard or Visa credit card or a debit card with MasterCard or Visa logos; view your bill, current balance and due date; access billing history, payments, and charges; and view historical consumption data.

Pay By Phone
Wake Forest Power - Post-Pay By Phone - 833-415-0541
Wake Forest Power customers that receive a monthly bill can make utility payments 24-hours-a-day, seven days a week using an automated phone system. To make a payment, customers simply call 833-415-0541 and provide their credit/debit card and electric account numbers. Accounts will then be updated to show the payment information and the new balance.

Raleigh Water customers can pay their water bills 24-hours-a-day, seven days a week by calling 919-996-3245. There is not a fee for this service and the payment updates immediately.
Text-To-Pay
To save time and money and avoid late fees, receive your bill summary in an SMS message which allows you to pay the full amount, pay a different amount or stop SMS bill summary notifications. Please note that this disables SMS E-bill notification for new bills. A mobile phone number is needed to receive SMS notifications.

Equal Payment Plan
Take the surprises out of your monthly utility bill with the Town of Wake Forest Equal Payment Plan (EPP). Once you enroll in EPP, you will receive a bill each month for the same amount. It's a great way to smooth the peaks and valleys of seasonal electric usage and enable you to budget with precision.
AutoPay
To save time and money and avoid late fees, have your monthly payment automatically drafted from your credit card, checking or savings account with AutoPay through your new online Customer Portal.
It's the same convenient process you may already use to pay a car loan, insurance premium or any other monthly payment. With the automatic bank draft, avoid the monthly hassle of writing checks and mailing them or dropping them off at Town Hall.

A drive-up collection box is available in the South Brooks Street parking lot outside town hall. An indoor collection box is available in the first floor lobby. As an added bonus, payments dropped off in the drop box do not require a stamp. The Town of Wake Forest will mail receipts upon request.

Solid Waste Billing
The Wake Forest Board of Commissioners voted in June 2020 to change how the Town charges for solid waste collection. Beginning January 1, 2021, the service will no longer be covered solely by annual tax revenues, but instead by a $21 monthly solid waste fee included on residents’ Raleigh Water bill. The monthly fee includes weekly trash, recycling and yard waste collection, along with seasonal collections for loose leaves, Christmas trees, bulk waste pickup and large brush collection.
When new residents contact Raleigh Water to establish water and sewer service they will be added automatically to the solid waste collection service for the Town of Wake Forest and receive one 96-gallon trash cart and one 96-gallon recycling cart.
Water & Sewer Billing
On July 1, 2005, the Town of Wake Forest and the City of Raleigh merged their water and sewer systems. The City of Raleigh then began billing all water and sewer accounts formerly billed by the Town of Wake Forest. Payments to the City of Raleigh should be mailed as specified on the City of Raleigh bill. However, Wake Forest residents may make water/sewer bill payments in person at the Wake Forest Town Hall.
Customer’s can also pay their City of Raleigh water bill online at https://raleighnc.gov/ or over the IVR at (919) 996-3245. There is not a fee for this service and the payment updates immediately.

If you need financial aid, here are assistance programs and resources available to you:
HOPE
Offered by the Town of Wake Forest, Helping Others by Providing Electricity is an initiative designed to help financially disadvantaged electric customers pay their utility bills. The program is funded by the generous donations of WFP customer and administered through a partnership between the Town and ChurchNet, a local non-profit organization assisting area people in need.
Project Share
The Project Share Contribution Program provides emergency funds to utility residents in a crisis, who are unable to pay their water, solid waste, recycling, and stormwater bills. It is funded by customer and corporate donations. Of the funds contributed to Project Share, 100% stay in the service area and help customers located in Raleigh, Garner, Knightdale, Rolesville, Wake Forest, Wendell and Zebulon. House Wake! COVID-19 Financial Assistance Program
House Wake! COVID-19 Financial Assistance Program will cover rent and utility shortfalls resulting from a financial hardship due to COVID-19. Through a partnership with Telamon Corporation, residents can receive financial assistance for any back rent and/or utility bills owed since April 2020, in addition to assistance for the current month. After that, they may be eligible for up to three months of additional assistance.
