Coincident Peak Service
Availability
The following rate is available for non-residential service to a customer whose demand exceeds 30 kW and who is participating in a specific load management program approved by the Director of Public Works. Delivery of service under this schedule shall be to the Customer's premises at one point of delivery through one meter.
Monthly Rate
Basic Customer Charge
Demand less than 100 kW - $75.00
Demand equal to or greater than 100 kW and less than 500 kW - $200.00
Demand equal to or greater than 500 kW and less than 1,000 kW - $475.00
Demand Charge
Coincident Peak Demand Charge - $23.30 per kW
Excess Demand - $4.37 per kW

Energy Charge
All kWh - $ .0512 per kWh
Facility Charge
For customers utilizing town-owned generators for coincident peak shaving, a Facilities Charge of $2.95 multiplied by the kW capacity of the generator will be billed in addition to the Basic Customer Charge.
Wholesale Power Cost Adjustment
At the Town's discretion, the charge per kilowatt-hour sold may be increased or decreased to reflect variances in Purchased Power Costs.
Late Fees
The billing month is defined as the month when a bill is rendered for payment. Bills are due upon receipt. All bills not paid within fifteen (15) days from date of bill shall be subject to a late payment charge of $5.00 or 2% of the outstanding bill, whichever is greater.
