Dunn Creek Greenway

The Dunn Creek Greenway is a one-mile trail that begins at the Smith Creek Soccer Center, 690 Heritage Lake Road, and runs north to the pedestrian culvert under NC-98 Bypass/Dr. Calvin Jones Highway.

E. Carroll Joyner Park

E. Carroll Joyner Park, 701 Harris Road, offers three miles of paved trails for walking, biking and in-line skating.

Flaherty Park

Located within Flaherty Park, 1226 N. White St., the Flaherty Park Trail is a 10' wide paved asphalt trail that extends .25 mile.

Kiwanis Park

Located behind Kiwanis Park, 400 E. Holding Ave., and the Wake Forest Library, 400 E. Holding Ave., this 10' wide trail extends approximately .25 mile.

Miller Park

Located in H.L. Miller Park, 401 Elm Ave., Miller Park Trail is a 5' wide trail that extends approximately 0.5 mile.

Olde Mill Stream section of Richland Creek Greenway

This section of greenway begins at the Cottage at Olde Mill Stream, 901 Barnford Mill Road, extends north along the east side of Richland Creek and ends just north of Littlehampton Court at Barnford Mill Road. The 10' wide asphalt multi-use trail is designed for biking, hiking or simply enjoying nature.

Sanford Creek at Heritage South

Located at the end of Marshall Farm Road within the Heritage South subdivision, this 10-feet wide asphalt, concrete and boardwalk trail extends 0.85 mile.

Smith Creek at Burlington Mills Road

Smith Creek Greenway - This 10-ft wide paved trail extends 1.15 miles (with a 33-mile connection to the Neuse River Greenway Trail) from Burlington Mills Road south to the Neuse River Greenway, west of Caddell Woods and Moss Creek subdivisions. Greenway users have the opportunity to experience views of aquatic and wetland life along Smith Creek. This partially shaded trail offers a cool escape from the summer heat. From atop the 558-ft bridge, watch for boaters enjoying the Neuse River.

Smith Creek at Smith Creek Soccer Center

This 10' wide paved asphalt trail is located at the Smith Creek Soccer Center, 690 Heritage Lake Road, and extends 4.85 miles (one-way). It heads south to Rogers Road Bridge for approximately 0.60 miles, then goes under Rogers Road Bridge past Heritage Middle, Elementary and High School for 1.4 miles. At its north-south terminus, the trail connects to Sanford Creek Greenway behind Heritage High School and heads east under Forestville Road Bridge to Marshall Farm Road for an additional 1.0 mile. The trail connects to the existing Sanford Creek Greenway at Heritage South, which is nestled in a wetland habitat for approximately 0.85 miles. The trail then connects to the Town of Rolesville and to Rolesville's Main Street Park. The greenway trail head at the Smith Creek Soccer Center also heads north along the Dunn Creek Greenway, under NC 98 Bypass/Calvin Jones Highway to Ledgerock Road and Cardinal Crest Lane for an additional 1.0 mile.

Tyler Run Park

Located within Tyler Run Park, 830 Pineview Dr., this 5' wide paved asphalt trail extends 0.12 mile.

Wake Forest Reservoir Soft Trails

The existing 1.6 mile soft trail is on the western side of the Reservoir. Use of the spillway to cross the reservoir is NOT PERMITTED. Any soft trails or trail markers on the eastern side of the trail have not been created nor approved by the Town of Wake Forest.
