Cultural Programs
The Wake Forest Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Department offers something for everyone! We provide a variety of programs, classes and special events throughout the year for youth and adults.
Program Registration
Online registration is available for athletics and programs. Pre-registration is required for all classes, programs, and athletic leagues.
Registration for classes and programs is held daily at the following locations:
- Joyner Park Community Center, 701 Harris Road
Flaherty Park Community Center, 1226 N. White St.
Alston-Massenburg Center, 416 N. Taylor St.
Wake Forest Town Hall, 301 S. Brooks St.
Athletic league registration is held daily during specified registration periods at the Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Department office, located in Town Hall, 301 S. Brooks St. Please note that a copy of the participant's birth certificate is required for all youth athletic leagues.
Evaluation Form
Please take a moment to complete an Evaluation Form for the most recent Wake Forest Parks and Recreation program or special event in which your family participated. Forms may be e-mailed to Monica Lileton, or delivered to Wake Forest Parks and Recreation, 301 S. Brooks St., Wake Forest, NC 27587.
Refund Policy
Class fees are 100% refundable when the class is cancelled by the Recreation Department. Anyone withdrawing from a class that has not been cancelled by the Wake Forest Parks & Recreation Department must request a refund, in writing, at least ten (10) business days in advance of the scheduled start of the class. Refunds will not be given for withdrawals made less than the five working day period other than for verified medical/hardship cases.
